My Thoughts:

What can I say? I sign up for many giveaways every month but I was utterly happy when I won this book. Specially because being in a long distance relationship myself, I can absolutely relate to the characters.

"I'll take you from 3000 miles over any other man in the same room with me"

I found that the author gets the essence of this kind of relationship, such as the effort both people make to continue and the feeling that there is something missing when your loved one is far away. Also, the certainty that you do it because that person is worthy.

Nonetheless, I had a huge mix of emotions regarding it.
To try to explain, let's say I felt this book was divided into 3 parts.

The beginning is PER-FECT! Yes, I know, we have the "best friends that are in love with each other" cliché but it was written in such a delightful way that it doesn't bother you in the slightest.

The dialogues are clever and the way they both feel when they face the separation is perfectly explained and developed.
The feelings arouse and you feel what they feel!
At that moment I was in love with the book. Definitely 5 stars.

Then we have the second part, after they confess their love for each other... well honestly... that part bored me to death, it was so slow!

The smart and fun dialogues were reduced to a simple: "I love you Ryan", "I love you so much Julia", "Oh you are so beautiful" , "oh you are so gorgeous" and then again I love you, I love you, I love you.
Of course it is a love story but there was no need to repeat that so many times. Believe me, they said it every two words!

In the third and last part, the book becomes great again. The action is fast paced and many things happen! The last chapters were amazing and the end was jaw dropping!

A very intelligent way to keep the reader interested! I'm eager to read the sequel.

That being said, the result is a 4 star rating :)

Can't wait to read the sequel, what a cliffhanger!!!
