Farsighted: Review, Trailer and Giveaway.

FARSIGHTED  by Emlyn Chand.

Book 1 in the Farsighted Series.

"A Story about ordinary teens with extraordinary Powers"

SYNOPSIS:

Alex Kosmitoras's life has never been easy. The only other student who will talk to him is the school bully, his parents are dead broke and insanely overprotective, and... oh yeah, he's blind.

Just when he thinks he'll never have a shot at a normal life, an enticing new girl comes to their small Midwest town all the way from India. Simmi is smart, nice, and actually wants to be friends with Alex. Plus she smells like an Almond Joy bar. Sophomore year might not be so bad after all.

Alex is in store for another new arrival—an unexpected and often embarrassing ability to "see" the future. Try as he may, Alex is unable to ignore his visions, especially when they suggest Simmi is in mortal danger.

With the help of the mysterious psychic next door and friends who come bearing gifts of their own, Alex embarks on his journey to change the future.

TRAILER:

My Thoughts:

4 STARS

I have to admit it, at first when I was just beginning this book I thought  "is him the poor version of DAREDEVIL?"
And when I say poor, I refer to money not to quality, ok?

But on the contrary, this story completely blew me away with its originality!

Alex's extra senses are a great asset and I really loved the way him and Simmi related.
The depth characters achieve is amazing.
All of the characters are well built, even Brady that I didn't like whatsoever. But I recognize he was perfectly developed.

This story is extraordinary!
The writing is superb and clever and the dialogues are just awesome.

The cover is really nice. Though I couldn't imagine Alex that sexy lol

This is a simple review because this book is simply GREAT, I'm glad I've already have the second instalment!

Thumbs up for Emlyn Chand!

  3. Ooo, best review ever! Thank you for your enthusiasm and for seeing how Alex is different than Dare Devil--he prefers to think of himself more as the Spiderman type ;-)
