Review: Existence by Abbi Glines

EXISTENCE (Existence Trilogy #1) by Abbi Glines.

                           SYNOPSIS:
What happens when you're stalked by Death? You fall in love with him, of course.
Pagan Moore doesn't cheat Death, but instead, falls in love with him.
Seventeen year old Pagan Moore has seen souls her entire life. Once she realized the strangers she often saw walking through walls were not visible to anyone else, she started ignoring them. If she didn't let them know she could see them, then they left her alone. Until she stepped out of her car the first day of school and saw an incredibly sexy guy lounging on a picnic table, watching her with an amused smirk on his face. Problem is, she knows he's dead.

Not only does he not go away when she ignores him, but he does something none of the others have ever done. He speaks. Pagan is fascinated by the soul. What she doesn't realize is that her appointed time to die is drawing near and the wickedly beautiful soul she is falling in love with is not a soul at all.
He is Death and he's about to break all the rules.

GENRE: Paranormal Romance
PUBLISHED:  December 13th 2011 by Wild Child Publishing.
RATING:

MY THOUGHTS:

I read this book in March 2012... yup it took me just a year to post the review lol.

I pretty much loved everything about Existence: the writing, the relationship between Pagan and Dank, which is so intense and the ending! (OMG! didn't see that coming!)

It was my first book about Death and reapers. The idea seduced me completely and so did Dank. I think I fell for him as hard as Pagan!

It was also the first book I've read from author Abbi Glines and it totally surprised me the way she created a different atmosphere for each scene.   I was hooked page after page.

The depth that the characters achieved was unexpected. I felt related to them and the love story is beyond sweet.

Though, I appreciated this fact more once I finished reading the whole series.

So little things bother me: Pagan acted as a spoilt child almost half of the book and the most annoying thing ever: how can someone so sexy as Dank can be called Dank? Ewwww!

Leif is delicious and Wyatt and Miranda are so funny and cute, also very interesting characters that add fun twists to the story. (although we didn't get to know them much in this book)

Well, anyway, I'll post the review of the other books soon!

I hope you enjoyed it and sorry for being MIA! I'll try to go back to posting daily!
